From Sydney

Take either the Great Western Highway or the Bells Line of Road to Lithgow.

A few kilometres west of Lithgow leave the Great Western Hwy at the Mudgee Road (also known as the Castlereagh Highway).

Head towards Mudgee past the towns of Cullen Bullen then Ben Bullen.

About 35 kilometres down the road you will pass Pearson’s Lookout. The view is worth stopping for and you look into Longridge.

Return to the road for two kilometres and you will see the sign to Longridge. If coming by train from Sydney to Lithgow you can negotiate the journey to Capertee with a driver from Lithgow Taxi (131 008).
